Job Title: Membership Coordinator, Member Engagement
Department: National & Membership Operations
Reports To: VP, Membership
FLSA Status/Level: Non-Exempt; Associate
Location: DC Headquarters
Position Summary:
The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is seeking a Membership Coordinator to join as a key player of our membership account management team. This person will be responsible for engaging key contacts at member organizations through a proven consultative membership journey. Position leverages the current challenges to research and development such as the impact of artificial intelligence, workforce DE&I, and professional development.
We value in-person collaboration and the sense of community it brings. Therefore, if hired, you will be expected to be in the office at least 4 times per week. Our office is conveniently located in Washington, DC, just steps away from two connecting train stations.

The Membership Coordinator will support the member engagement team with an opportunity for growth into an individual territory or account management focused role.
Work in a team environment to help develop and execute service and growth strategies that drive the business forward, with a focus on a membership renewal target.
Play an integral role in strengthening relationships with member organizations.
In partnership with team:
Assist in the development of outreach strategies for interactions with member executives.
Conduct membership walk-throughs with existing and new users to add value to their memberships.
Conduct initial meetings with new members to onboard and train them on how to navigate the membership and organize their content
Build, engage, and maintain member rosters
Respond to inbound and outbound requests membership requests and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner; escalate to team, as necessary.
Schedule and prepare team members for meetings with membership companies.
Meet regularly with your manager for coaching, revenue and client updates, and feedback

We are looking for Team Players who meet the Following Criteria:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
Must be articulate and possess the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
Ability to work face-to-face with senior level executives.
Requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal skills.
Must be skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Strong project and time management skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and work well under pressure.
Flexibility to manage under competing priorities, changing priorities and deadlines.
Self-motivated and proactive in approach to work.
Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule occasionally.
Computer proficiency in MS Office, internet, and databases.
Prior Salesforce experience a plus.

Salary & Benefits
$55,000 - $60,000 annually. This salary range represents a good faith estimate of the lowest to the highest salary for this position. The final salary offered will be based on qualifications and experience.
