Job Title: Coordinator, Member & Board Engagement
Department: Membership
Reports To: Director, Member and Board Engagement
FLSA Status/Level: Non-Exempt/Associate

Position Overview:
The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is seeking a Coordinator of Member and Board Engagement. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting two or more regions through research, database updates, memos on member companies and prospective member companies and awareness of company transitions.
This position requires an organized self-starter who can multi-task and manage projects in support of the Membership team and all membership initiatives. The position represents the NAM at all levels both internally and externally. Excellent interpersonal skills are required. This position is based in Washington DC, and you will only be required to come into the office on an as-needed basis.

- Maintain accurate records and stay on top of news alerts and financials for an average of 95+ members and 20+ prospects per region. Save news updates to member records.
- Provide quarterly financial updates for all public members. Update revenues annually for all members to ensure database accuracy.
- Track campaigns and keep reporting up to date in Salesforce, including the annual legal center campaign and the prospect pipeline.
- Ensure subs and branches are updated annually.
- Draft backgrounder outlines for directors, including membership details, financials, bios, key contacts and current news.
- Prep and review materials before board meetings including VIP briefs, SMM directory, tent cards and attendee lists.
- Draft, edit, and proofread invoices, professional letters, membership proposals, memos, itineraries, issue updates, mailings and other general correspondence.
- Handle member requests, following up on information, document preparation, correspondence or reports. Conduct follow-up calls as directed.
- In partnership with Regional Directors execute the following types of events: Meetings with Members of Congress, CEO Dinners and Policy Roundtables, in DC and in region.
- Hands on involvement on a wide range of Membership special projects as requested by association SVPs and Membership VP's.
- Assist with Events, attend board meetings and provide support as assigned.
- Support Directors with material preparation, document updating, scheduling, and other duties as assigned.
- Assist directors in drafting lookaheads, regional travel/event strategy and annual game plans.
- Pull member and prospect lists as requested and research hosts for events, including congressional dialogues with Public Affairs.

- Within NAM: Work with NAM staff at all levels.
- External to NAM: NAM Board of Directors, Washington lobbyists, NAM members and prospects, Members of Congress and other high-level officials.
We are looking for Team Players who meet the Following Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree; preferred.
- Minimum four years of administrative/project management work experience; preferred
- Prior association and/or not-for-profit organization experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, including senior-level executives.
- Must be skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Excellent analytical and time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work well under pressure.
- Flexibility to manage under competing priorities, on-demand process shifts, and deadlines.
- Self-motivated and proactive in approach to work.
- Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule occasionally.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

Salary Range: $55,000 - $63,000 annually. This salary range represents a good faith estimate of the lowest to the highest salary for this position. The final salary offered will be based on qualifications and experience.
