Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Institute (MI) is looking for a full-time Program Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of the Heroes MAKE America program in the Carolinas Region, including Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
The program manager will be responsible for the direct administration of the program in collaboration with the U.S. Army Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program, local educational partners, community support organizations, and industry representatives to support a highly successful program that achieves a consistent enrollment of approximately 20 - 25 participants per class and job placement rate of 90% or higher. Day-to-day activities include class recruitment, course syllabus oversight, collaboration on cohort events, tour coordination, data collection, partner relationship management, and placement support. This position reports to the Director, Heroes Program Execution.

Serve as the onsite liaison for the Manufacturing Institute and program partners, including the U.S. Army Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program, community, education, and industry partners.
Meet overall program objectives, goals, and requirements to include coordination of candidate recruitment, applicant screening, placement support, and data tracking.
Participate at Ft. Liberty transition and other regional installation events to recruit candidates into HMA training classes.
Organize HMA information sessions to raise program visibility on the installation to build interest and maximize future enrollment.
Organize and schedule all course graduation ceremonies with the education partner.
Process and track enrollment/funding paperwork and Commander approvals for participants.
Maintain Salesforce records for participants in the region.
Support placement of all participants at 90% or higher.
Oversee and track the Heroes MAKE America student interview process and placement with industry and program partners.
Attend and schedule plant tours to regional manufacturing and supply chain facilities.
Collaborate with the course instructor(s) to ensure compliance with course attendance policies and training procedures and ensure course syllabus and calendar are current.
Implement and schedule career courses in coordination with the local community and education partners.
Prepare weekly reports on program activities and outcomes for the National Director, Military and Veterans Programs.
Communicate to the Director and National Director, Military and Veterans Programs any issues, policies, and/or procedures impacting desired outcomes.
Directly engage the Director and National Director, Military and Veterans Programs, with any industry and community relationships and sponsorship opportunities.
Manage HMA success stories and social media content for regional training programs.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience working with/on military installations
Excellent time-management and organization skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of program management and development procedures

Experience working on social media platforms
Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office
Experience and comfortable with a remote work environment
Ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams
