Job Title: Programs Coordinator Division: Finance and Administration Department:Innovation Research Interchange
Reports to:IRI AVPs
FLSA/Level: Non-Exempt/Associate

Position Overview:
The National Association of Manufacturers is seeking a Programs Coordinator that will provide administrative support to the IRI team as needed with a variety of membership tasks in support of the IRI Community, Programs and Professional Development platforms. It is an excellent opportunity to gain experience with project management, event planning and logistics, membership operations, sales and reporting, marketing, and website content management.

The IRI is the oldest member-driven, global business leadership network dedicated to innovation leaders in industry,academia, and the federal government. Join the NAM and Make an Impact in the Following Ways:
Provide support to IRI virtual and in person events, conferences,etc. Help with production and facilitation of events and content development. This can include hosting webinars, gathering and programming event information into various event platforms, etc.
Participate as a member of the IRI team seeking continuous improvement of association functioning to ensure positive member experience throughout their involvement with an IRI program, product, service or working group/committee;
Maintain up-to-date documents with current events and activities and coordinating the logging and maintenance of all event recordings;
Assist with creating copy for emails, marketing materials (including social media), and website as needed;
Support committees, committee members and committee meetings. This could include scheduling, note taking, and follow-up on action items;
Support all aspects related to professional development: live and virtual, hybrid and blended, regional, and national;
Help in managing and administering web-based project management platforms;
Support the Research Technology Management (RTM) Journal and assist the IRI liaison to the RTM publisher - including support for the publication schedule, contributors, editors, and bi-monthly subscription reports.

We are looking for Team Players who meet the Following Criteria:
The candidate for this position will ideally have experience in an association dealing with member management requirements;
A minimum of two years' experience in a similar position is desired. Competency with Microsoft Office, database programs, marketing, and web-based systems is preferred;
Candidate can work on a remote basis;
Knowledge and familiarity of Learning Management Systems a plus.
