Position Summary: Create and improve custom built software solutions that fill needs unique needs for the NAM.
Day to Day Responsibilities: include the following.
Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
Write clean, scalable client-server API and websites using .NET languages.
Test and deploy applications and systems.
Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
Write user guides and technical documentation.
Ability to self-manage priorities and schedules for deliverables.
Be willing to explore and learn (either self-guided or formal training) additional technology methods to meet the evolving needs of clients both internal and external.

On your own authority: Conducts meetings to obtain user requirements and determines feasibility of stated objectives; designs and writes computer programs and implementation plans to meet requirements.

Which require approval by higher authority: Use of consultants, equipment replacement or computer upgrades; creation of NAM-wide systems designs and plans.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's (A.A.) degree plus 6 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree (B.S.) plus 3 years of relevant work experience;
excellent analytical and communications skills;
Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer;
Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC));
Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC, SOAP)
Must be able to multi-task while providing a high level of customer service
Must be flexible and able to handle changing priorities and additional, unplanned tasks
Must be a team player
Ability to handle pressure in a deadline and goal oriented work environment
